How To Use
Do it yourself Ribbon Eyelashes just got more interesting. Grab your scissors and cut this lash ribbon into smaller segments of your liking, or leave them long.
-
Figure out your desired look.
-
Cut the lash ribbon into the segment sizes required to achieve the look you have chosen - depending on eye shape and size you will need approx. 4-5 lash segments per eye and lay out in the correct order for application guide.
-
Ensure you cut any excess band off (this can sometimes irritate the eye if you do not cut as close to the segment as possible).
-
Apply a small amount of the bonding glue to the underside of your own lash at the base only (as if applying mascara) - do not apply the bonding glue to the whole lash, just the section where you will be applying the first segment. You can work from either the outer or inner corner of the eye - this is down to personal preference. You can also apply the bonding glue to the lash segment to create a longer bond.
-
Looking down into a mirror, either with tweezers or fingers apply the first segment under your own lash. If you have never done this before it may take a few attempts before you get the segment to latch onto your own lash.
-
Once the lash is in place and is secured to your own lash, either with fingers or tweezers clamp the segment to your own lash to create a stronger bond.
-
Continue applying the remainder of the above segments.
- Finish with our Sealant for maximum longevity.
Lash Care
To Remove:
If you have been wearing your lashes for a long period of time and there has been no movement whatsoever you will either need to remove with our newly introduced Bond and Lash Remover or with an oil based remover, vaseline or coconut oil. Simply apply the solution to your lashes both on top and underneath and leave for 30-60 seconds and then start brushing away with the applicator wand. This is a very simple process and no damage will be incurred to either your own natural lashes nor the segments (which will allow you to be able to clean and reuse). If any residual glue remains on your own natural lashes just simply apply the above process and then finally clean the area with a lint free cloth.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TUG ON THE LASH SEGMENTS TO REMOVE AS THIS MAY RESULT IN YOU PULLING OUT YOUR OWN LASHES AND ALSO CAUSE THE SEGMENTS TO BECOME DAMAGED. JUST BE PATIENT AND SOAK THE LASHES WITH THE REMOVERS AS MENTIONED ABOVE UNTIL THE LASHES EASILY COME AWAY. THIS WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REUSE YOUR SEGMENTS AGAIN.
To Clean
To clean the actual lash hairs, place on top of a soft tissue or paper towel. Apply an oil-free makeup remover or micellar water cleanser to a cotton swab and gently brush away any unwanted makeup or debris. Please be sure to use an oil-free makeup remover or cleanser as oil-based cleansers can be harmful to the lashes.
To Store
Gently remove lashes using lash applicator or fingertips. To store lashes, return each lash to the magnetic strip on the tray insert found within the original packaging and return to box. This will help to maintain the overall shape and curl of the lashes as well as prevent dirt or debris from coming into contact with lashes while being stored.
With proper care, lashes can be reused and applied up to 14 wears.
